Case Study By Ranktriz

From Near-Zero Visibility to 110K Organic Clicks for a Pakistani Ecommerce Store

We helped a mobile phone accessories store in Pakistan grow from almost no organic visibility into an ecommerce website generating thousands of monthly visits from Google. The store had been developed on WordPress and WooCommerce. Although it functioned as an online shop, its design, user experience, website structure, and search presence were not supported by a clear growth strategy.

Project Overview

Industry: Mobile Phones and Accessories
Market: Pakistan
Website Platform: WordPress and WooCommerce
Engagement: Ecommerce SEO, UI and UX Optimization
Primary Focus: Organic Visibility, Product Discovery and Customer Traffic

The business operated in a competitive Pakistani ecommerce market where customers compared products, prices, compatibility, and delivery options before purchasing.

Its products had strong search potential. However, the website needed a clearer structure and a complete SEO foundation before it could compete consistently.

Our responsibility extended beyond creating recommendations. Ranktriz planned the strategy, improved the website, implemented the optimizations, and monitored how search performance developed.

Furniture Store

The Challenge

The WooCommerce store had been created by a developer as a functional ecommerce website. However, the interface and website structure had not been planned around organic growth or the complete customer journey.

  • Important product and category opportunities lacked clear keyword targeting. Search engines did not always receive enough information to understand page relationships, while customers could face unnecessary difficulty moving between relevant categories and products.
  • The website needed improvements across its navigation, mobile experience, visual hierarchy, page layouts, product presentation, speed, and purchasing paths.
  • There was also no complete SEO strategy connecting technical health, search demand, product categories, content, internal links, and website authority.
  • The challenge was larger than optimizing a few existing pages.
  • We needed to rebuild the store’s search foundation while improving the experience users received after reaching the website. Every change needed to support both visibility and ecommerce usability within the Pakistani market.

Strategy By Ranktriz

The Approach

Rather than treating website development, SEO, and local search as completely separate activities, the project was approached as one connected digital strategy.

01 β€” Website Audit and Pakistan Market Strategy

We began by auditing the store’s search performance, technical setup, content, products, categories, backlinks, and user experience.

Google Search Console helped us understand how Google viewed the website and which pages had started receiving visibility. We also used competitor and keyword research tools to study search demand within Pakistan.

The research covered mobile accessories, device compatibility, product types, brands, models, and the commercial language customers used before making purchases.

We mapped keywords according to search intent rather than targeting high-volume phrases without considering their relevance.

The audit also helped us identify technical limitations, weak pages, missed categories, duplicate targeting, and areas where the store structure restricted product discovery.

These findings became the foundation of a prioritized ecommerce SEO strategy. Every later change was connected to the problems and opportunities identified during this stage.

02 β€” WooCommerce, UI and UX Improvements

Once the direction was clear, we improved the WooCommerce experience and corrected interface problems that could restrict customer engagement.

We reviewed navigation, mobile responsiveness, product presentation, category layouts, visual hierarchy, calls to action, and important paths between product discovery and checkout.

The objective was to make the website easier to understand from the moment someone arrived.

Customers needed to recognize product types, explore relevant categories, compare suitable options, and reach important purchasing information without unnecessary confusion.

We also reviewed website speed and elements that added weight without improving the customer experience. Images, layouts, plugins, and other page components were assessed according to their effect on performance and usability.

These improvements gave the SEO campaign a stronger website foundation. More visibility could now lead potential customers into a clearer and more reliable ecommerce experience.

03 β€” Store Architecture and Product Organization

The next stage focused on how products and categories were organized across the store.

Mobile accessories can create a complicated catalogue because products often relate to particular device types, brands, models, functions, and compatibility requirements.

We reorganized important sections so that categories reflected both customer demand and search behaviour.

Products were placed within more suitable groups, category relationships were clarified, and keyword targeting was mapped to the correct pages. This reduced unnecessary competition between pages that could otherwise target similar searches.

We also identified missing category opportunities where the store had relevant products but lacked a suitable search-focused destination.

The improved architecture created clearer paths from broad categories to more specific product options. It also helped search engines understand which pages represented the store’s most important topics and commercial opportunities.

04 β€” Content and Complete On-Page SEO

With the structure established, we optimized the pages that needed to attract and convert search traffic.

We worked on category content, product information, headings, page titles, meta descriptions, image details, URLs, and internal links.

Content was created around actual product needs and purchasing questions. It explained what customers were viewing while helping search engines understand the purpose of each page.

We also reviewed duplicate and thin content across similar products and categories. Pages were rewritten, consolidated, redirected, or given clearer targeting where necessary.

Structured data and schemas were checked to improve the way Google interpreted product and website information.

Technical elements such as indexation, canonical signals, redirects, sitemaps, crawl paths, and broken links were also reviewed.

Internal links then connected relevant categories and products, helping authority move through the store while giving customers additional ways to discover suitable accessories.

05 β€” Authority, Monitoring and Continuous Growth

After strengthening the website itself, we focused on authority and continuous performance improvement.

The backlink profile was reviewed for quality, relevance, anchor text, and potential risk. This helped us understand which external signals supported the store and where stronger authority could be developed.

Search Console data was monitored to identify rising queries, growing pages, ranking changes, and new opportunities.

Pages showing early visibility received further attention through content improvements, internal links, metadata refinements, and stronger alignment with search intent.

We also monitored performance after important website changes instead of treating implementation as the end of the project.

This allowed the strategy to evolve as Google collected more information and customer search behaviour became clearer.

The process turned SEO into an ongoing growth system. Research guided implementation, performance data guided refinement, and each stage built upon the work completed before it.

Organic Search Growth

The long-term Google Search Console data shows the store moving from almost no organic traffic to several hundred daily clicks.

Across the 16-month reporting period, the website generated:

  • 110K organic clicks
  • 4.19 million search impressions
  • 2.6% average click-through rate
  • 6.5 average search position

The graph shows visibility beginning at a very limited level before rising significantly as more categories, products, and commercial searches gained traction.

The average position of 6.5 placed the website’s overall search performance within the first page range.

Growth also continued during the most recent comparison.

Organic clicks increased from 29.4K to 40K between the previous and latest three-month periods. This represents a 36.1% increase and approximately 10,600 additional clicks from Google.

Search impressions increased from 1.01 million to 1.38 million during the same comparison. This represents a 36.6% increase and approximately 370,000 additional appearances in search results.

The click-through rate remained stable at 2.9%, even as the website reached a significantly larger search audience.

The latest three-month period recorded:

  • 40K organic clicks
  • 1.38 million search impressions
  • 2.9% average click-through rate
  • 6.8 average search position

These results show that the campaign did more than create a short increase. The website established meaningful organic visibility and continued expanding from an already stronger performance level.

The Outcome

The project transformed a developer-built WooCommerce store into a more structured and competitive ecommerce website.

  • Ranktriz did not rely on one keyword group, one content campaign, or one technical correction.
  • We created the strategy from the beginning and connected every part of the store to it. The interface became easier to use, products became easier to discover, categories received clearer targeting, and search engines gained a better understanding of the website.
  • Technical improvements supported crawling and indexation. Content and metadata improved page relevance. Internal links created stronger relationships between products and categories. Continuous monitoring helped us respond to new search opportunities as the website grew.
  • The most important result was sustained visibility within Pakistan’s competitive mobile accessories market.
  • The store moved from almost no organic presence to 110K clicks and 4.19 million impressions, while maintaining an average search position within Google’s first page.
  • Even after achieving that growth, the latest three-month period delivered another 36.1% increase in clicks and 36.6% increase in impressions.
